Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first minute. Ladd returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian, before heading to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's professional career. Ladd won her next match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make the weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round in the 2nd. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the opening round, she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, and the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She was beaten by a majority decision.
